Behind The Scenes

One might think that putting up a weekly photo is simple however a lot more goes on than just simply picking one out. During the week I take a look at the events which take place and bundle them up into an article. A photographic article. 

"A Picture is Worth a 1,000 words."

So for example I chose this week's photo for the following: 

  • The fatal crash of the National Air Cargo 747
  • The installation of Prince now King of The Netherlands Willem-Alexander and Princess now Queen Maxamina marking the first Dutch king in many years. 
  • The reception of my Galaxy S4. 
  • To remember all the people we've lost this week and the celebration of life during the now season of spring.  

So with these ideas, I have picked out our

The Tulip: National flower of The Netherlands.  Sending well wishes to the new Dutch sovereign. commemoration of those we lost in the fatal crash and beyond.  One of the first photos taken with the new phone. 

There is a reason why New York City was once coined "New Amsterdam"
