Something to look forward to..

Looking up at the sky is always fun.. don't you think?

Our FRIDAY FOTO for September 6th, 2013

Even though we love to look up at such beautiful sights, we must also remember to look forward to the head and not the tail.  Speaking of looking forward, I am looking forward to the final approach of Flight For Safety this fall.
But before we get there, everyone still has a chance to check out and read Flight For Control.  Have you yet?  If not, I highly recommend it.  As a matter of fact, I couldn't put it down after the first reading.  It took me seven consecutive readings (over a period of a few months) to attempt to convince myself to put the book down for a while.  It's just that good (- especially Darby talking back to/and about Bill.)
Now that the summer madness is over and everyone's going back to work and school, now is a great time to expand your literary repertoire.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I have and still am.

Speaking of relaxation..

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

During my many visits over to Kennedy's Terminal 7 ("mini-Heathrow"), I always think of the person who I am about to introduce as this week's Tuesday Tweeter.  He comes to us from the south shores of the UK.  He is not only a computer programmer but also an avid photographer.  He has taken some of the most breathtaking photos, especially the HDR shots of his recent trip to Seattle and the west coast.  He also enjoys spending summers with his family in the Adirondack region of upstate New York.  Most importantly, to say that he is an avid avgeek would be an understatement.

"As Real As It Gets"
I came to meet Mike on Facebook a few years back through a network of online flight simulator enthusiasts.  Throughout this time, Mike helped me enhance my flight sim experience by showing what a purist/realist  can do to make my flight sim sessions as realistic as possible through professional add-on software.  Mike not…
