Aviation Day 2015

Once upon a time...

Aviation started with a dream...

Which was implemented.
When it was implemented, it took flight.

When that first flight happened..  That dream spread and attached itself to many other people worldwide, like splitting atoms....

JFK, Terminal 7.

Myself included...

Bound for AMS, 17 June 1996.  Northwest Boeing 747.  My first flight.
The next morning in AMS, I was ready for more..

When we acquire this dream, we will do whatever it takes to make it a reality...

I wish everyone, and I mean everyone, out there, to take a flight, if you haven't already done so.

You will never regret it.

Aviation will never be a hobby nor a job, nor a chore.  It will be your blood which will passionately flow through your body, mind, and into your soul for the rest of your life.

And we have only those to thank. The people who inspire us to fly....

The pilots you have met that have told you never to give up.  The skies are only the beginning...

Always have a positive rate of climb above the weather.
I personally want to wish everyone out there...

Fly SAFE!

Jeremy.

Looking into the eye's of the passenger profile photos of some of those on board after having read this book, I could never begin to understand what was going through their minds during their final thoughts and moments alive on aboard Air France flight 447.

Flight For Sanity

"While it’s tempting to play it safe, the more we’re willing to risk, the more alive we are. In the end, what we regret most are the chances we never took."

FORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

April, 2017

With seconds to go, I was making a mad dash down the concourse.  Of course my gate had to be the last one at the end.  The chances of me making the next flight out after to the concrete jungle were growing very slim.  In the distance, I could hear a small boy ask his mom, "Why is that man running?"  Barely hearing anything over the sounds of rushing blood and adrenaline, I heard the mother explain that I was running to catch a plane.
As I ran, I flew into my subconscious and thought about the times where I wish I had ran towards something, risking everything valuable in life because of something I believe in, instead running of away from something due to fear of how bad it would impact my life.   Risks that were worth taking, that I never…

She's on her way!

FRIDAY FOTO

It's Friday and the weekend is here.  And yes, Darby is on her way for another visit.  I see her flight on the stormy horizon which will be coming to our West Michigan mailbox soon.  A flight, we have been waiting for, for a very long time.
We are proud to say, that we've made an extra room for her in our library among the series next to "Flight For Control", "Flight For Safety", "Flight For Survival" and  next to the motivational work "Flight To Success: Be The Captain of Your Life."
Also sitting in our office library is "I Am Awesome! The ABCs of Being Me" a children's book which not only will be sitting in our office library, but in the library of some of the local elementary schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
"Flight for Sanity" has just been released, but to get the full effect of it, it is highly recommended to read the first three in the series.  For sure, leaving a comment of each of the novels …
